June 5-8, 2022, in Topeka, KS
Due to the pandemic, KEC’s in-person youth programs were cancelled in 2020 and 2021. However, KEC’s strong tradition of promoting youth leadership continued in a new format with a virtual Kansas Electric Youth (KEY) Leadership Conference. This year, KEC is pleased to offer the KEY Leadership Conference as an in-person event in Topeka, Kansas, June 5-8, 2022.
The conference focuses on different aspects of leadership and includes sessions about the cooperative business model and cooperative principles, advocacy and how to have your voice heard, social media branding, safety, and tips to prepare for the transition between high school and higher education.
The speaker lineup features discussions with legislators, industry professionals, youth program alumni, and local celebrities.
