Loss Control, Safety and Compliance provides technical, on-site training programs and services that help meet the increasing needs of a co-op’s comprehensive employee safety program. On-site regulatory visits assist in complying with state and federal safety issues and operational laws. Part of the employee safety program is Safety Achievement, a national voluntary initiative implemented by NRECA in conjunction with Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange. LCS&C assists co-ops in securing a skilled workforce and materials during natural disasters through the KEC Cooperative Managers Association’s Mutual Aid Program. LCS&C staff also develop, coordinate, instruct and facilitate workshops throughout the year.
