Education and Training

KEC develops and organizes educational opportunities for member-cooperative directors and employees. The department assists KEC and member cooperatives in meeting planning and issue education. The department coordinates youth education programs including the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C., and the Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp in Colorado. The department also encourages participation in Touchstone Energy, a national alliance of local, member-owned electric co-ops providing a high standard of service to their members and dedicated to serving residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural members with integrity, accountability, innovation and commitment to community.
