Winter Conference Header

Thank you for sponsoring our 2026 KEC Winter Conference in Topeka, Kansas, Jan. 31-Feb. 2. 

Below is a brief overview of the schedule with details for sponsors. If you have any questions, please let us know by emailing sponsorships@kec.org. 

 Saturday, Jan. 31 

  • KEC trustee workshops.  
  • No networking or sponsorship activities.

 

 Sunday, Feb. 1 

 2-4 p.m.  Sponsor display setup

 4-6 p.m.  Social at Cyrus Hotel

Cyrus Hotel | 920 S Kansas Ave, Topeka, KS 66612

Networking social from 4-6 p.m. (subject to change) at the Cyrus Hotel. CFC (our social sponsor) will give a 5 minute welcome. There is no other formal program.

  • All sponsors are invited to attend. 
  • KEC staff and registered members (approximately 180 total).

NETWORKING

  • Network with conference attendees during social.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

  • Finger foods and beverages will be served.

 

 Monday, Feb. 2 

 7-7:45 a.m.   Sponsor display setup

 8 a.m.-Noon  Meeting, speakers and a legislative briefing.

NETWORKING

  • 7-8 a.m. — Networking (breakfast not provided)
  • 9:15 a.m. — Break (30 min. subject to change) 
  • 11 a.m. — Lunch

FOOD & BEVERAGE

  • Breaks: Beverages will be served during breaks. 
  • Lunch:
    • Lunch is included for sponsors.
    • We ask that sponsors wait to fill in empty seats after members are seated for lunch. 
    • If space at round tables is unavailable, please enjoy your lunch at your sponsor display table. 

 12:30-3:30 p.m.  

Legislative visits and Senate and House committee meetings.

Note: Attendees will be at the Capitol NOT at the Townsite during this time.

NETWORKING

  • Sponsors are welcome to attend the legislative event at the Capitol, watch the sessions and network with members in between legislative meetings. 

  • Cooperative members will be participating in legislative meetings during this time, we ask that sponsors not disrupt this process.

  • Sponsors may also setup a tour of the Capitol by calling 785-296-3966. 

 5-7 p.m.  Legislative Reception

WHO’S INVITED

  • Nearly 300 attendees will join us including: 

  • Sponsors. 

  • KEC staff and guests.

  • KEC registered members (approximately 160 total).

  • Kansas Senators and Representatives. 

NETWORKING

  • Sponsors are encouraged to network with members during all portions of the event. 

FOOD & BEVERAGE

  • Beverages and dinner (taco bar) will be served.

  • Displays must be removed from Townsite by 8:30 p.m.

  • Please notify KEC staff in advance (at registration or by email to sponsorships@kec.org) if you will need to ship materials following the meeting.

  • Note: If your company is not listed, a display was not requested on your registration form and space has NOT been reserved. 

  • Display space includes 6 foot display space, with 2 chairs

  • No food or beverage can be provided at displays. Giveaways and interactive games encouraged (no gambling). 

  • Electricity will not be provided unless requested in advance (email sponsorships@kec.org.)

  Sunday, Feb. 1

  • Sponsors may setup displays at the Townsite Tower from 2-4 p.m. in preparation for meeting on Monday. 

  Monday, Feb. 2  

 7-7:45 a.m.   Sponsor display setup

If you arrive after 7:45 a.m., please wait to setup your display from 12:30-4 p.m. Our membership will be out of the meeting room during that time. 

 7-8:30 p.m.   Sponsor display take down

  • Displays must be removed from Townsite by 8:30 p.m.

Meeting attendees will be circulating with a punch card.

Once attendees have visited 10 sponsors they can enter in a drawing for $250!
